Index is like a tenori (palmtop?) T-Rex.

Title: To Aru Majutsu no Index
Fansub: [Eclipse]
Season: Spring 2008
Episode: 14
Score: 7.8/10 Started off well but is now getting repetitive.

Well, this episode involved breast-grabbing, a long fight, and some funny moments, but it failed to really be as effective as it should have been. I'm just not buying into the whole "I can stop anything with my right hand, so I can beat anyone" thing. Touma kicked Accelerator's ass even though Accelerator could have just shot the plasma before Misaka did anything.

Touma the pimp raising flags, Konata style.

Majutsu no Index started off as such a kick-ass anime, so I am very disappointed where this is going. Touma needs to lose or my chances of continuing to blog this are slim. I mean c'mon, he already beat the strongest ESPer in Academy City. What more can he do? Also, the whole loli-harem setup is not getting through as much as it should. Needs moar Komoe-sensei.

I will generally not give anime a composite (story, sound, animation, etc.) score when giving a final score. However, I may mention certain aspects within a review. Scores are roughly based on a 10-point system in which the score is basically my final thoughts. In certain cases, I may give a second 10-point score for quality, as some anime may be technically sound but lacking for some reason in making an impression. Anything 8 or above will almost certainly be blogged unless I am swamped with too many shows. The scoring list goes something like this:

10- "Wow! This is why I watch anime." Generally I know right away when an anime is a 10 just from the feeling I get.

9- "That was really top-notch but not quite a masterpiece." A 9 has all the qualities of an 8 but either excels in one subcategory or is very well done all around. 9's usually make you want more consistently.

8- "That was pretty good." 8's are generally in the top tier of a season and are well-rounded. They don't excel in one area, but are still worthy of watching and carry entertainment value. Most of the anime that I follow are 8's.

7- "I'll keep watching to see if it picks up." A 7 is on the border of being dropped. There is nothing wrong with it, but it just isn't good enough to spend the time to watch. I mean, I could be watching a completed anime that is easily better than a 7. If a 7 stays a 7 for roughly 5-10 episodes, I will likely drop it.

6- "Meh." When a 7 drops to a 6, I give it 1 more episode before I drop it. 6's make me bored at times and are usually shows that I leave until the end to watch.

5- and below "I can't take it anymore." When a show drops to below a 6, it is basically done. It is too slow for me to even watch 1 more episode, so I drop it. If there are favorable reviews later, I *might* pick it back up.

Welcome to the MoM (or meonlyme) Animeblog. Feel free to add me on myanimelist.net and no, I am not going to take care of you like your mom. This is my first blog ever, and I hope to satisfy at least some hungry Otaku in the sea that we know as the internet by blogging about all good things anime (well at least some).

I'm 16 years old and live in So-Cal. I started watching anime "seriously" probably in the summer of '07. Why don't you stay and read a while? :D

The major components of my blog are:

Currently Airing: Currently airing anime reviews. Right now I'm planning on 2 shows per season.

Final Thoughts: Finished anime that I have yet to watch get reviews in this section when I complete them. Currently airing anime have a final post here as well when they end.

A Track a Day Keeps the Boredom Away: 1 track of music EVERY DAY. This will start up once I figure out how to host music without bandwidth issues.

A Slice of Me(onlyme775): Post on Friday about whatever I want to talk about. Usually anime-related and useful.

International Saimoe League (ISML): Posts on ISML news as it happens.

A Week of Reviews: Reviews of all the other ongoing anime that I watch, but don't have time to fully blog. Usually just snippets of info.
